SERVICE
The Service Committee looks to provide volunteer opportunities for members to donate their time and expertise for the greater good of our communities, focusing on menstrual equity access and advocacy.
EDUCATION
The Education Committee focuses on sharing information on menstrual health and menstrual equity. We do this through creating educational flyers, giving presentations, and engaging in conversations with community members. In the past, we have covered topics including period poverty, how menstruation works, and the relationship between exercise and menstruation. Some of our major events include participating in Berkeley’s Farmers’ Market and presenting at the Period Party DeCal.
POLICY
The Policy Committee focuses on turning menstrual equity into meaningful, lasting change by identifying gaps in school period policies and advocating for better solutions. We work on projects such as developing innovative period-product dispensers with partner organizations, like Equipad, and creating a website with accessible, informative menstrual-health resources.
